Some recent pictures which have strangely all involved mirrors. Maybe it's because I'm feeling particularly introspective or maybe it's because some of the mirrors in my house are really pretty.
These two are in the hallway on one of the last days of my christmas holidays which were over a month ago now. I'm wearing thrifted saddle shoes, Topshop tights (I think), hand me down skirt and sequinned vintage shirt my mum gave me and a necklace I made out of dog leads. My grandfather gave me some glasses frames which were his in the 60s because after looking through all the old family photos I decided he had the coolest glasses ever.
From this weekend. This is what I wore for spending four hours in a coffee shop sharing one hot chocolate with some friends and singing Simon and Garfunkel on the beach at twilight and everything is hand me down.
The mirror in my bedroom. I wrote on it in lipstick months ago in the middle of the night when I was being super angsty and it also has revision notes and random messages to myself stuck to it ('as long as you're not a hairless cat you're not failing at life too badly but if you are then you get to sleep all day which is basically winning at life'.)
My friend Jemima putting black lipstick on in my mirror when I had a small gathering on the last day of term and she matches my room.
Also from this weekend. I have new platforms which I can't really walk in so I've been wobbling around the house in them and they look rad with diy frilly socks.
My big news at the moment is that I have finally started an etsy for vintage clothes and homemade bits and bobs, in particular patches. It is HERE and I currently have five items on it, including unicorn patches like the one on my army jacket.
