Friday was the last day of year 10 and it still hasn't really sunken in. On Thursday I went to see Dexy's Midnight Runners (aka the Come On Eileen band) which was an emotional experience and then on Friday a teacher saw the wristband from it which I'd forgotten to take off and ranted at me so I was kind of like I AM SO FRKN GLAD THAT I HAVE SIX WEEKS AWAY FROM THIS SHIT HOLE DURING WHICH I CAN ACTUALLY GET SOME SLEEP but then the rest of the day was spent eating marshmallows and sausage rolls and taking selfies with teachers and singing Busted songs with my teaching group (Air Hostess is our official anthem) so it ended up being kind of bittersweet. I got home, unpacked four bags of textbooks, scrunched up emergency clothes from my locker, sweet wrappers (Jemima and I tried to work out how much money we have spent between us on buying junk food after school this year but kind of had to give up), drawn on PE clothes (NO MORE PE NEXT YEAR YESSSS), disposable cameras and decorated My Little Ponies, had my usual end of year panic attack and then spent the evening planning my summer. Last weekend I ran craft workshops at a folk festival which was incredibly fun. Some other recent happenings;
Recent journal pages.
Various dreamy songs for strange nights.
Some incredibly old photos of a really cute day at the park with Vikki, Katie, Melissa and Lili.
After years of wanting to I dyed my hair neon highlighter pink with some £1.67 dye from Ebay. It is crazily streaky and I really love it.
Songs played two weeks ago as some friends and I explored a forest miles from anywhere at 3am in thick fog.
Various people at the park after the gig, Rosina's amazing t-shirt and her on a tyre swing and just before the gig.
